My notes for you:

Chapters 4 and onward are not all of them shorter than the first three chapters, I just made the pages longer when I did the markup for the later chapters.

People familiar with the Church Hill neighborhood will notice that I've adjusted the location of the eastern end of the tunnel.

You've probably figured out that the house is not a real house, but you'd be amazed at how real it is. It's a composite of various houses on the hill here.

Also, Rififi is named after Nestor Burma's cat. I was watching the TV series on TV-5 while I was trying to think of a name for the cat. Whenever Burma's office got trashed, the actress who played the secretary Helene always worried about the emotional trauma to the cat and would cry, "Pauvre Rififi!" while expressing no sympathy for Burma. I later found out that Burma's fluffy black and white cat was named after Rififi, a French film noir classic.
